Use in class
Ten science terms about states of matter and the water cycle. Show a term, ask for an explanation, then check the reverse. In pairs, take turns asking and checking.
A teacher should check that each definition matches the lesson and age group. Ask learners to distinguish similar terms such as evaporation and condensation.

These cards give a basic meaning, not all possible translations. Audio and example sentences are not included. Start with fewer cards if needed.

Use for exam review
Ten basic statistics definitions. After recalling a definition, make an example of your own. Keep uncertain terms for your next review rather than repeatedly printing the whole deck.
This is not an official exam syllabus or complete course. Check definitions against your textbook or course materials and edit them to fit your examination.

Check front/back registration before cutting
The sample uses a 10mm inner margin. We check that PDF text stays at least 8mm inside the front-side cut boundaries, but this does not automatically correct your printer. Match paper size, scale and binding, then check that back text stays inside the front cut lines on one physical sheet.
Physical check: on 2026-10-21, revised English A4 pages 1–2 were printed on a Brother DCP-J929N and confirmed to keep text inside the cut boundaries. Front/back registration still had an offset. Japanese, remaining pages and US Letter have not been physically verified. Text clearance is not proof of exact front/back alignment.
Print the check sheet on A4, portrait, long-edge duplex at 100%. View from the back against a light and read the X/Y values where the front cross falls, at center C and all four corners. If readings vary across the page, first check scaling, rotation and feeding; a single offset will not fix that.
A4 duplex registration check (2 pages)Samples do not include an offset for a particular printer. When regenerating in the app, apply the measured correction in Back text position and test again.
Print and customize
- Choose the PDF that matches your paper: A4 or US Letter. Print portrait, at 100% / Actual Size, with long-edge duplex. Disable auto-rotation and fit-to-page scaling.
- Print pages 1–2 first. Before cutting, check that “evaporation” has its matching definition on the reverse. For manual duplex, follow your printer’s loading instructions.
- Print pages 3–4 for home study or 5–6 for exam review. These pages have not been physically verified. Mechanical alignment depends on your printer; check the first sheet whenever you change decks.
- To change content, edit the source list and enter it in FlashPrint on iPhone or iPad. Free PDF output supports up to ten cards. Check additional feature availability and prices in the app before purchasing.
