How to Print Quizlet Flashcards: Official Print & Custom PDF Guide
Print a Quizlet set from desktop, or export your own set as text and make a custom flashcard PDF. Includes current limits and steps.
There are two ways to put a Quizlet set on paper:
- Print directly from Quizlet for the quickest route.
- Export your own set and use FlashPrint when you want a custom card layout.
Option 1: Print directly from Quizlet
Quizlet’s print feature is available on a laptop or desktop browser, not in its mobile apps.
- Sign in to Quizlet and open the set.
- Select More and then Print.
- Choose the available page size and print options.
- If the set has many terms, select See more at the bottom of the list until all terms are visible, then print.

Option 2: Make a custom PDF with FlashPrint
Quizlet lets a set’s creator export its terms and definitions as text on the website:
- Open your own set on the Quizlet website.
- Select More → Export.
- Choose how to arrange the terms and definitions, then select Copy text.
Quizlet says sets copied from another user cannot be exported, and image exports are unavailable. See Quizlet’s export instructions.
The text format FlashPrint can read is one card per line, with the front and back separated by a tab:

In FlashPrint, open the bulk-import screen, paste the text, check the preview, and create the PDF. Bulk import is a Pro feature. The free version can create and export PDFs with up to 10 cards entered in the app; Pro unlocks bulk import and decks over 10 cards. You can review the current plans in the app before purchasing.
Only export or print content you have permission to use. Quizlet’s export and print options can change, so follow the current instructions shown on its website.
Which option should I use?
Use Quizlet’s own print command if you just need a basic printout. Choose FlashPrint if you want to turn your own text export into a card layout designed for printing. FlashPrint is an iPhone app; Quizlet’s own print command is desktop-only.

Can I print Quizlet flashcards from my phone?
Quizlet currently supports printing from a laptop or desktop browser, not from mobile devices. You can use FlashPrint on iPhone to create PDFs from content you are allowed to use.
Can I export someone else’s Quizlet set?
Quizlet says you can export sets you created. A set copied from another user cannot be exported through Quizlet’s export flow.
Is FlashPrint’s bulk import free?
No. Bulk import is a Pro feature. The free version supports PDFs of up to 10 manually entered cards; Pro supports bulk import and larger decks.
